Portugal national team star Bruno Fernandes has reacted to Mason Greenwood’s post, after netting a goal to set new records in Manchester United’s 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers FC at Molineux Stadium on Sunday.
The 19 years old was given another starting role by coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and he was able to guide them to a remarkable away victory.
After playing out a goalless draw in the first half, Mason Greenwood scored the only goal of the game in the 81st minutes to give his team a deserved victory.
With Mason Greenwood’s goal, it means he has set two new records.
“Mason Greenwood is now one of only four players in Premier League history to score 20+ goals as a teenager, after Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler and Wayne Rooney.”
“Mason Greenwood is only the second teenager in Premier League history to score in each of his side’s first three games of a season, after Robbie Fowler for Liverpool in 1994-95.”
