Chelsea ready to sell highly-rated forward ahead of January transfer window
The West London club made some additions to their squad during the summer in their bid to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for the title.
However, that has quite worked out well for Chelsea so far as they are currently on top of the Premier League table ahead of their match against Leicester City on Saturday.
And now, if reports are anything to go by, then the Blues are willing to offload young forward Christian Pulisic when the transfer window opens.
The 23-year-old USA International, who joined Chelsea from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund in 2019 has been an important member of the first-team squad since he made the move.
The young right-winger enjoyed an interesting 2020/2021 season where he scored six goals and provided four assists in 43 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea.
However, Christian Pulisic has failed to rediscover his best form this season and has only made four appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal in total.
And due to this, Chelsea are said to be done with him and according to reports from The Sun, Chelsea are ready to sell him when the transfer window opens next year.
The reports further claimed that La Liga giants Barcelona are eyeing a move for Christian Pulisic and Blues would be open to selling him next year.
It is believed that Barcelona want to improve their attacking options under new manager Xavi Hernandez and have identified Christian Pulisic as a needed addition to the squad.
That said, it remains to be seen if Barcelona football club will follow up their interest in Christian Pulisic with a bid when the transfer window opens.
