Chelsea set to sign Sevilla star defender
Chelsea are set to sign Sevilla and France defender. The defender, identified as Jules Kounde is said to be keen on a move to a premier league side after refusing to sign for English giant, Manchester United.
The 22 years old center back, Jules Kounde is a right sides center back. He has been linked to Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal and a host of other European elite team.
Jules Kounde is keen on joining European giant, Chelsea FC.
Key Sky sport and transfer news journalist, Fabrizio Romano stressed on twitter; “Jules Koundé has an agreement ready on personal terms with Chelsea”.
“Contract until 2026 won’t be a problem to be signed – as Koundé is open to accept”.
“Chelsea and Sevilla are in advanced talks to reach an agreement on payment/deal structure.”
Sevilla and France defender, Jules Kounde joined Sevilla from Bordeaux in 2019 and has played 88 times across two seasons for the LaLiga side. He still has three years left on his contract at Sevilla. It is reported that he want to make the switch to Chelsea so as to play Champions league football and to win trophies.
Chelsea have sold English defender, Fikayo Tomori to Italian side, AC Milan. Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel is need of a replacement for the aging Brazilian defender, Thiago Silva who will turn 37 in September.
