Chelsea Will Face Their Biggest Title Challenge This December
With the holiday season fast approaching, the Premier League will see a run of games this month which will be a test for the title contenders and relegation-threatened teams.
A positive run of games during this period for league leaders, Chelsea will see them enter the new year at the top of the table. The Blues will be looking to kick off their December fixtures on a positive note as they face Watford at Vicarage Road today.
Chelsea will be without Ngolo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Ben Chilwell while Reece James and Hakim Ziyech are still doubtful for the clash.
After today’s game, Thomas Tuchel’s side will face 4th placed West Ham, Leeds, Everton, Brighton, Wolves, Brentford and Aston Villa in the month of December, before their Super Clash with Liverpool at the start of the new year.
Having played all the top teams in the league, the Blues will look to take advantage of their remaining fixtures this year against the fringe teams while they look to claim maximum points.
The London side are currently being tightly chased by fellow rivals Manchester City and Liverpool FC.
Chelsea will be looking to get back to winning ways following their draw on Sunday with Manchester United.
