Defender Officially Complete Chelsea Summer Transfer Deal
Southampton have confirmed the Official signing of highly rated Tino Livramento from Chelsea on a five year contract.
Speaking to Southampton’s official website about his discussions with Ralph Hasenhuttl, the 18 years old said:
“He wanted to tell me a lot about he wanted me to train, how he wanted me to play and what he wanted mw to bring to the team. I feel like that was really attractive for me to see him expressing those emotions and showing how he sees me playing in a Premier League team. That’s a big thing for me being 18 and it was a really good conversation.”
The young defender was a prospect everyone had high hopes for and there were lots of speculations about his future, that he could also be sent on loan to gain more experience and hopefully break into the Chelsea senior team on the long run. However, he won’t be getting any first team football with Chelsea as Thomas Tuchel’s team would prefer a priority target like Jules Kounde in their defence department.
Clubs like Arsenal, RB Leipzig of Germany and others have shown interest, but it was the saints who snapped up the deal for the youngster.
