Mason Mount got Chelsea’s goal in the 70th-minute but it took Everton just four minutes to equalise as Jarrad Branthwaite’s goal broke the London side’s heart.
Liverpool continued to mount the pressure on league leaders, Manchester City as they won 3-1 against Newcastle United. Goals for Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, and Trent Alexander-Arnold got the Reds all three points.
