2 Players Who Have Scored More Goals Than Ronaldo In 2021 EPL Top 4: Who has the best attackers in the league?

The current top 4 clubs in the Premier League are Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United.

In this article, we’ll be looking at how the attackers of these teams have fared so far this season.

Chelsea Football Club

The attacking composition Thomas Tuchel has used for most of the season so far is the trio of Kai Havertz, Romelu Lukaku, and Timo Werner.

So far this season, they’ve managed to score just 5 goals with 3 of them coming from Romelu Lukaku.

What this implies is that Chelsea players need to do more in front of the goal, especially in big games.

One thing that has helped the Blues so far this season is that defenders like Marcos Alonso and Trevor Chalobah have stepped up during goalscoring moments, however, this might not be sustainable throughout the season.

Liverpool Football Club

For Jurgen Klopp’s men, his attacking trident consists of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane.

Manchester City

It seems Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City doesn’t have a permanent attacking trident, however, the players they’ve used the most are Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, and Gabriel Jesus.

These three players have managed to score just 4 goals in 7 games so far this season. Though Pep Guardiola’s men might have an excuse of not having a natural striker, they still have to do more in terms of scoring goals.

Manchester United

For the Red Devils, the three players Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has used the most this season in the attack are Jadon Sancho, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Mason Greenwood.

So far this season, the trio has been able to score just 6 goals, with Jadon Sancho contributing to none. This shows that the other two (Ronaldo and Greenwood) have been quite impressive so far this season, as such, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to map out plans to bring the best out of Sancho in upcoming weeks.

Performances rating: 65%.
