There are two methods of achieving the Bold, Italics and Strikethrough on Android devices.
Android devices having Gboard as it’s default keyboard is more easier to realize these, while they’re shortcuts for devices without Gboard, i will be able to be giving an outline on both methods during this article.
1. Making latters Bold
If you’ve got the Gboard as your default keyboard A latter when chatting on WhatsApp for instance highlight the text and click on on Bold the text becomes Bold automatically.
If you do not have Gboard as you default keyboard no worries you’ll also achieve this by using the asterisks before and after the text for example; *font* as simple as that.
2. Applying Italics to Texts
If you’ve got the Gboard as your default keyboard type the text, highlight the text then click on Italics, it’ll automatically be Italics as shown below:
For those with Gboard you’ll get Italic texts by using the underscore symbol before and after the text for example; _font_ and you’ll get an Italic text .
3. Strikethrough Texts
If you’ve got Gboard as your default keyboard A text, highlight the text and click on on the Strikethrough choice to Strikethrough a text.
if you do not have Gboard as your default keyboard use this (~) symbol before and after the text; ~font~ and obtain a Strikethrough text.Back to top button
