John Terry reacts after Chelsea FC display their UCL trophy in their draw against Tottenham FC
Former Chelsea and England national team captain John Terry has reacted after the Blues display their UEFA Champions League title in their 2-2 home draw against Tottenham Hotspur football club, in their last preseason friendly match on Wednesday night.
The London based club had a memorable 2020/2021 season, as they defeated English Premier League Champions Manchester City FC in the final to win the UEFA Champions League title, and they were able to present the trophy to their fans at Stamford Bridge.
Coach Thomas Tuchel guided the team to the fourth spot in the EPL table, the final of the Emirates FA Cup, and he was able to help them win their second ever UCL title in his first season at the club.
The Blues have also been doing pretty well since they returned from the break, and they’ve been able to win all their preseason friendly matches before playing a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur FC on Wednesday night.
Two fine goals from Moroccan star Hakim Ziyech were not enough to give the Blues a victory, as Lucas and Bergwijn netted for Tottenham Hotspur FC to end the match in a 2-2 draw.
Chelsea football club posted their UEFA Champions League trophy on their verified Instagram handle on Wednesday with the caption of;
“Champions of Europe, we know we are. 🏆”
