Kurt Zouma’s impressive defensive record for Chelsea
Kurt Zouma could depart Chelsea this summer after reports claim he has been included in a player + cash offer by his club for Sevilla’s Jules Kounde. West Ham are also said to be interested in signing the French centre back but are far behind Chelsea’s valuation of the player.
Since he signed for Chelsea in 2014 from French Ligue 1 club, Saint Etienne, Kurt Zouma has only made one error directly leading to an opposition goal in 99 Premier League appearances for Chelsea.
Chelsea signed Zouma in 2014 and he was loaned back to Saint Etienne to complete the season. The player was sent on loan to Stoke City in 2017/18 and he made 34 appearances for the club. He spent the following season on loan at Everton and scored 2 goals in 32 appearances for the Tofees.
Last season, Zouma scored 5 English Premier League goals for Chelsea and he was the club’s second highest goal scorer in the competition with just a goal behind Jorginho. Zouma has reportedly refused the offer to move to Sevilla in a swap deal as the player wishes to remain in London and favor a move to West Ham instead.
