Man United Bid rejected by Real Madrid with two parties still €20M apart

Man United offer snubbed by Real Madrid with two parties still €20M apart

Real Madrid have rejected Manchester United’s opening offer for defender Raphael Varane, consistent with AS.

Man United are heavily linked with Varane, having already agreed a deal to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

Goal have reported that the Red Devils have already got an agreement in theory with the player, with Real Madrid accepting that he are going to be sold.

While that means that the deal isn’t distant from being completed, Spanish publication AS suggest that Man United aren’t getting anywhere near Real Madrid’s selling price .
It’s claimed that Man United are trying to haggle Varane’s price right down to depths which Real Madrid aren’t prepared to travel .

As a result, AS believe that Real Madrid have snubbed Man United’s opening offer for Varane, with the 2 parties still a long way apart over the Frenchman’s valuation.

Real Madrid are thought to be holding firm towards the €70M mark, while Man United have only offered €45M plus €5m add-ons.

We might be certain lengthy negotiations here. Strap yourselves in, United fans…
