Following a near two-year-long pursuit, the Red Devils finally have their man.
After successfully reaching an agreement over a whopping £73m transfer, Manchester United are going to be delighted to be ready to say that the talented England international is now one among their players.
The club has recently taken to their official media to formally unveil the wide-attacker, who, for the eagle-eyed viewer, also will note that the player has yet to be assigned a shirt number.
Manchester United have completed the signing of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of £72.9m.
His move to Old Trafford follows a year-long pursuit by United, who were reportedly postpone initially by Dortmund’s 100m pound valuation of Sancho, a former Manchester City youth team player.
The deal was also announced just weeks after Sancho, along side new United team-mate Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka, received racist abuse following their penalty shoot-out misses in England’s Euro 2020 final defeat by Italy at Wembley.
Sancho told the club’s website: “I’ll always be grateful to Dortmund for giving me the chance to play varsity football, although I always knew that i might return to England at some point .
“The chance to hitch Manchester United may be a dream come true and that i just cannot wait to perform within the Premier League. this is often a young and exciting squad and that i know, together, we will become something special to bring the success that the fans deserve. i’m looking forward to working with the Manager and his coaching team to further develop my game.”
