Man united to sell star attacker following the arrival of Jordan Sancho
Sancho recently completed his much anticipated move to united from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund for a fee that could rise up to €86 million in total. The English side are now looking to sell French striker Anthony Martial this summer as they look to balance the books.
Martial joined United from Monaco in 2015 with much expectations as the Frenchman was regarded as one of the most exciting teenagers in the world at the time. Martial did shine in his first season at united as he found the back of the net 17 times in all competitions while he also scooped the prestigious Golden boy award that year.
The Frenchman has however failed to replicate that form ever since with inconsistencies and injuries plaguing his time at Old trafford. His days at Old trafford now looks numbered following the arrival of English star Jordan Sancho who will slot in straight into United’s starting Xi alongside Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani.
Martial would not be short of suitors though with Tottenham Hotspur reportedly interested in signing the 25 year old as they look to replace the outgoing Harry Kane up front.
