Manchester United Defender Agrees To Sign A New Contract

Eric Bailly contract extension

Aston Villa and Newcastle United are both interested in signing Axel Tuanzebe, but any suitors will have to pay about £5 million to cover the loan fee and the player’s wages.

Manchester United are nearing an agreement on a one-year contract extension for defender Axel Tuanzebe, which would keep him at the club until 2023 with a year option. Tuanzebe is set to complete his season-long loan at Aston Villa once this is completed.

After signing a one-year extension at Manchester United, Axel Tuanzebe is expected to complete a season-long loan transfer to Aston Villa.

Dean Smith has been anxious to bring Axel Tuanzebe back to Aston Villa to give backup at centre-back and right-back, and talks for a loan this season have proceeded favourably.

Axel Tuanzebe’s game time is expected to be limited further by the imminent arrival of Raphael Varane from Real Madrid, with Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, and Eric Bailly seemingly above of him in the Man United pecking order.

Tuanzebe is a fantastic player who not only covers positions but also has a thorough understanding of the club and its individuals.

But I’m hoping there’ll be a buy option at the conclusion this time! Fantastic personality! (It also gives us greater freedom to move to a 3atb.)

Manchester United will examine bids for Axel Tuanzebe this summer, as his contract ends next year, and they risk losing him for free. Tuanzebe will be considered for a permanent deal by Aston Villa.

Do you believe Manchester United will be sorry for losing Axel in the summer?
