Chelsea will square up against Liverpool on Saturday. Both teams are in fine form as they have won 100 percent of their EPL games this season. Their upcoming encounter will be a show of some of the best players in the Premier League and Europe.
Last season Chelsea spent £220m on new players, they signed the likes of Kai Havertz, Edouard Mendy, Timo Werner and Thiago Silva, this season they also spent £98m in acquiring the services of Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan, the blues definitely have one of the best squads in the world.
Meanwhile, Liverpool has assembled a world class team since Jurgen Klopp was appointed as manager, the German manager signed the likes of Mohammed Salah, Mane, Van Dijk and so many other top quality players.

Going with a 4:3:3 formation, Liverpool’s Allison Becker will get the nod ahead of Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy, the Brazilian was signed for a huge £65m and his performances since joining Liverpool has been top notch he was very influential in their run to winning the Champions League in the 2018/2019 season and the EPL title the following season.
In Defence, Liverpool’s Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander Arnold nails down the full back spots, they have been the best over the last couple of years, their ability to provide huge number of assists makes them the preferred options ahead of Ben Chilwell and Reece James or Azpilcueta.
The duo of Van Dijk and Joel Matip has been a brilliant center back pairing, Their understanding playing together gives them the edge over the likes of Rudiger, Thiago Silva and Christensen.
Chelsea dominates the midfield with Ngolo Kante and Kai Havertz as the preferred defensive and attacking midfielder, Thiago Alcantara also gets a role alongside Kante in midfield.
In attack, Chelsea new signing Romelu Lukaku should get the nod over Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino, he will be flanked by the pacy duo of Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane.
