PSG Officially Present Lionel Messi and Slams Real Madrid’s Plan to Sign Kylian Mbappe
According to reports, Real Madrid fans hope that Paris Saint-Germain will make an appeal to Florentino Perez after signing Lionel Messi. The subject of the conference call is expected to be the sale of Kylian Mbappé, but the Ligue 1 team poured cold water on all these hopes.
Meanwhile, Lionel Messi immediately connected himself with Paris Saint-Germain when Barcelona confirmed his departure last Thursday. Madrid hopes that the French giants will eventually soften their stance on retaining Mbappé’s position, but this is not the case.
Before Messi’s official debut at Princes Park on Tuesday, PSG shared a teaser video on its social media platform. The video conveyed a clear message to Real Madrid: “Even if we have to lose him in a free transfer next summer, we will not let Mbappé leave now.”
In the video shared by PSG, Neymar’s No. 10 jersey and Mbappe’s No. 7 jersey was seen hanging on both sides of the locker with the Argentine flag. Presumably, the locker was prepared for Messi, after revealing that Messi will be wearing the number 30 jersey.

Paris Saint-Germain made it clear that in addition to bringing former Barcelona teammates Neymar and Messi together, his offensive trident for this season will be completed by the Frenchman.
Although Mbappé has been postponing his contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain, but the club does not intend to let him leave until his current contract expires at the end of next season.
In short, Messi’s arrival did not drive Mbappe away. In fact, Paris Saint-Germain is determined to use all three offensive superstars.
In this case, Real Madrid will have to wait until January, when Mbappé is free to negotiate with other clubs. At this point, he can accept a transfer to the Spanish capital, depending on the situation in the first half of the season, or eventually accept the renewal of Paris Saint-Germain.
Becoming a Real Madrid player has always been Mbappé’s goal, but he will definitely want to stay and fight alongside Messi and former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos
