Ralf Rangnick On The Wheel: Three Unwavering Decisions The German Coach Might Make In Upcoming Games

1. Strip Harry Maguire Off The Captain Band

No top manager in the world will be playing Harry Maguire in this current form. Talk less of giving him that important role in a Manchester United team. Certainly not a defender that his performance is worth emulating. Ole disrupted the dressing room order by giving him that captain band.

Hip it on Ralf, his first dressing room arrangement will be to strip Maguire off that role in a mutual concession. I guess Harry knows what is coming already as new coaches bring in new reforms.

2. Straddling the young players into the teamwork

A lot of lads at Stretford end tend to play an individual kind of game. They want to be the star man and get headline recognition. There is nothing greater than teamwork in football. We play together and we win together, Ralf understands this principle and it’s working so fine for him.

He will be settling Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho into playing team football. A cohesive organization will be uncharacteristically affected by this new coach.

3. Making Cristiano Ronaldo the head of the team

German football’s philosophical approach makes every player in the team equal except the main man. Take a look at Roberto Lewandowski in the Bayern Munich team, everybody is working the ball for him and he’s delivering by scoring consistently.

The evidence of goals and assists contributions has shown Cristiano Ronaldo to be Manchester United’s main man at the fore. There’s no way Ralf will think of benching Ronaldo in this team, his primary role is to score goals.

Secondly, Manchester United lacks a leadership personality whereas the oldest and experienced player in this team is Ronaldo. He deserves that role of being the club Captain. As a national team Captain, he amassed greater heights with Portugal. In this Ralf’s new epoch, Ronaldo is undeniably the best man to lead this team.
