Read what Raphael Varane said ahead of his move to Man UtdManchester United new signing, Raphael Varane has sent an emotional farewell message to the whole Real Madrid players and coaching staff.

The Frenchman ten years stay at the Santiago Bernabeu is coming to an end this summer after agreeing on a deal in principle with Manchester United.

Varane’s medical is scheduled to hold this week and he will also be unveiled as a Manchester United player as fast as possible before the new Premier League season begins.


Raphael Varane started his playing career in Hellemes before joining Lens in 2002, he then joined Real Madrid in 2011 and he has made over 300 appearances for the club.


Varane has won 18 major honors, three La Liga titles, Four Champions League titles, One Copa dey Rey and four Fifa club world cups. Varane will now forever be grateful to Madrid for the kind of player they have molded him to be.

He showed his greatest appreciation for the love he has received over the years in Madrid and he is now ready for a new challenge in England.
