Real Madrid Are Willing To Swap Eden Hazard For Chelsea Defender
Real Madrid FC have been recognized worldwide to be among the top elite European clubs. Altogether, they have won 34 La Liga titles and 13 Champions League trophies. In 2019, they completed Eden Hazard’s move to the Santiago Bernabeu for a record fee of £130 million. They initially bought him in order to fill up the vacuum Cristiano Ronaldo left since his departure. It is a well known fact that Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid to join Juventus FC in 2018 after his 5th Champions League victory.
Since Eden Hazard arrived in Spain, his career has been plagued with multiple injuries. Even Fiorentino Perez, the President of Real Madrid FC saw his purchase as a huge loss owing to the fact that much was expected from someone of his calibre. The 30 year old footballer has played in 3 seasons for Real Madrid, participating in 69 matches and scoring only 5 goals. In his current season, he has registered only 5 shots, 4 of which are on target, and no goals to show for it. He has a disappointing average of 0 goals per game for Real Madrid this season. Due to injuries, the Belgian forward missed a total of 59 games across just 3 seasons for Real Madrid.
REPORTS: Chelsea Keen On Eden Hazard2 weeks ago
Fed up of his disappointing records, Real Madrid has decided to engage him in a swap deal with Chelsea’s right back, Reece James. Reece James has risen to fame following his impressive run of form under Thomas Tuchel. Fiorentino Perez saw Eden Hazard’s transfer as a ‘historic mistake’, and has decided to take advantage of the situation by swapping him with Reece James. The reason why Real Madrid specifically chose Reece James was because Dani Carvajal, their Spanish defender is currently struggling with injuries and they need someone able to stand in the gap for him.
