Without much doubts, Chelsea football club remain keen on winning more laurels under the management of Thomas Tuchel and have splashed the cash during the summer.

The West London club added some players to increase their chances of competing with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool this season.

And that has quite worked out well for Chelsea so far as they are currently on top of the Premier League table ahead of their next league match against Burnley on Saturday.

Coupled with their good run of form, Chelsea could now be boosted with reports that young central defender Trevoh Chalobah has signed a new contract at the club.

The 22-year-old England International, who joined Chelsea when he was just eight years old has been quite influential since he made his debut in the UEFA Super Cup in August.

The young central defender has now gone to make 10 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea this season, scoring two goals as Chelsea remain in first position on the table.

However, it is believed that the Chelsea board are impressed with Trevoh Chalobah’s excellent performances this season and have offered him a new contract to keep him at the club.

And now, the Blues have now confirmed that Trevoh Chalobah has accepted and has now sign a new five-year contract to extend his stay at the club.

Having signed the contract, Trevoh Chalobah is now set to continue his developments at the club as they aim to win the Premier League this season.
