The Glazers Giving Ole Another Chance Ahead Of The Intl. Break Shows Their Lacklustre Attitude In Recent Times REPORTS: Manchester United ready to pay £69 million to sign 23-year-old defender Jules Kounde next year

Without much doubts, Manchester United football club will be aiming to get back to winning ways when the ongoing international break is over.

The Red Devils have endured a difficult start to the 2021/2022 season and are currently sitted in 6th position on the Premier League table going into the international break.

Coupled with their woeful start to the season, Manchester United have conceded a disappointing 17 goals in just 11 matches in the Premier League this season and are now looking to fix their defence.

And if reports are anything to go by, then Manchester United are eyeing a move for Sevilla central defender Jules Kounde when the transfer window opens.

The 23-year-old France International, who joined Sevilla from Ligue 1 side Bordeaux in 2019 has been an important member of the first-team squad since he made the move.

The young central defender enjoyed an interesting 2020/2021 campaign where he scored four goals and recorded one assist in 49 appearances in all competitions for Sevilla.

Jules Kounde has also started the 2021/2022 season on a brilliant note and has made 13 appearances in all competitions, helping Sevilla to 3rd on the La Liga table.

His impressive performances in the centre of defence is said to have caught the attentions of Manchester United and according to reports from The Sun, the Old Trafford side are keen on signing him.

Despite facing competition from fellow Premier League side Chelsea over the talented central defender, reports from The Sun further claimed that Manchester United are willing to hijack Chelsea’s move and are ready to pay the £69million buyout clause to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla.

That said, it remains to be seen if the young centre-back will be interested in a move to join Manchester United when the transfer window opens next year.
