Thomas Tuchel reveals if he expects N’Golo Kante to play against Tottenham
Chelsea remains undefeated in the Premier League this season, with their 1-1 draw at Anfield two weeks ago the only game in which they have dropped points.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will be put to the test, especially with several of their important players, such as Eric Dier and Son Heung-min, doubtful for the match.
Chelsea, on the other hand, appears to be close to full strength, with Tuchel stating that Kante is available for the match.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel said earlier this week that he hoped the Frenchman would be fit for Sunday’s encounter, but rumours afterwards suggested that the 30-year-old was in a race against time to play.
In his pre-match press conference, however, the German coach has dispelled all worries over Kante’s availability.
“There are no new injury concerns,” Tuchel stated (via Football.London). Christian (Pulisic) is trying to return as soon as possible, but he is not included in the team. N’Golo is in full shape and ready to go.”
