Tokyo 2020 Olympics: Meet The 17-Year-Old Girl Representing Nigeria In Swimming
In the lead-up to the 2020 Olympic Games she trained at the FINA Development Centre in Kazan, Russian Federation.
She has both Nigerian and Australian citizenship, and chose to represent Nigeria after being approached by the Nigerian Swimming Federation. She first raced for Nigeria at the 2018 World Short Course Championships in Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China.
In 2019, she represented Nigeria at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships held in Gwangju, South Korea.
Her last result is the 71th place for the women’s 100 m freestyle – heat during the World Championships in 2019. She competes in 100 m freestyle, 200 m freestyle and 4×100 m medley mixed.
