Chelsea And Roma Agree €40M Deal For Striker, Chelsea Still Keen On Sasa Kalajdzic
According to Gianluca Dimarzio, Chelsea and AS Roma have agreed a deal for the transfer of Tammy Abraham. Tammy Abraham has rarely played for Chelsea since Thomas Tuchel took over at the club. He has been linked with a number of clubs including Arsenal, West Ham, and Aston Villa.
Chelsea would prefer to sell Tammy Abraham abroad as they do not want to strengthen any of their Premier League rivals. Last week, Atalanta and AS Roma made enquiries about Tammy Abraham but Roma are now in pole position to sign Tammy after reportedly agreeing a €40M deal with Chelsea. Di Marzio also reported that deal is now depending on a “Yes” from Tammy Abraham.
Tammy was supposed to be part of a transfer triangle that involves Romelu Lukaku moving to Chelsea, and Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata moving to Inter, but Inter have now moved for Roma’s Eden Dzeko instead of Zapata.
Sasa Kalajdzic: Despite Lukaku’s deal, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is still interested in signing Stuttgart’s striker Sasa Kalajdzic. Kalajdzic was in great form for Stuttgart last season as the Austrian striker scored 16 goals and provided 5 assists in the German Bundesliga last season.
According to reports, Tammy Abraham’s situation will be sorted out first before Chelsea decide to make a move for the Stuttgart striker. Kalajdzic was also at the Euro 2020 tournament with Austria, he scored one goal in four appearances.
