Chelsea have reportedly held fresh discussions with the agent of France midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni as they look to beat Manchester United to a transfer. The 21-year-old AS Monaco player prospect was the subject of interest from the the Blues earlier this year but the club have instead prioritised the signing of a striker and centre-back. While another midfielder is not important for Thomas Tuchel, he would be opened to land another player. It’s reported that the deal would cost in the region of £34million with AS Monaco hopeful of keeping him for at least another campaign.

 

Arsenal set to sign Marco Asensio

 

Arsenal are showing interest in securing the signature of Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio before the summer transfer window closes. The Spain International would cost the Gunners around £60million.

 

Standard Liege signs Hamza Rafia

 

Done deal: Belgian side Standard Liege have completed the loan signing of Hamza Rafia from Italian Serie A side Juventus until the end of the 2021/2022 campaign.
