Tuchel Could Possibly End Manchester City’s EPL Dominance Next Season With This Tactical Lineup
Chelsea’s dealings in the transfer window is yet to yield any substantial evidence despite how active they have been in the transfer window. The tactical lineup seen below shows how the blues could be possibly lining up next in order to stop Manchester city from dominating the Premier league again.
As seen in the lineup, Romelu Lukaku will be leading that attack, although he will be having the support of Havertz and Ziyech. Mason Mount is not seen in the starting lineup, although Tuchel might decide to start him ahead of Hakim Ziyech.
In the midfield, Kante and Jorginho will be starting as a double pivot. Options in that midfield include Kovacic and Ruben Loftus Cheek. Chilwell and Reece James will be starting in that left and right full-back positions respectively. Reece James and Ben Chilwell just arrived at Chelsea’s training ground and James wasted no time in displaying his UEFA Champions league trophy tattoo.
The backline will still remain the same as the likes of Rudiger, Azplicueta and Thiago Silva will be forming a 3-man defence backline. Tuchel’s 3-man defence system have helped him annul a lot of threats from opposition teams. Eduard Mendy will still be retaining his spot as the club’s first choice goalkeeper despite the fact that the blues have already completed the signing of a goalkeeper.
