Manchester United is set to face a very tough Liverpool side at the Anfield Stadium after getting their first win in four games. The Red Devils were able to produce a stunning and dramatic comeback against Italian Serie A club Atalanta.
That game was Manchester United’s third win in seven games. Despite starting the league with great momentum and in high spirits, thrashing Newcastle United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Leeds United in their first three premier league games.
Pressure started growing on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job because of the poor run of form. Before the game against Atalanta, ex-Manchester United players and fans were calling on the club’s hierarchy to sack the Norwegian tactician as soon as possible.
Despite their calls, it seems the club’s hierarchy are still backing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to take the club to their promised land for the first time since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson. Manchester United is set to take on Liverpool, and that will be another test for Solskjaer and his team.
