UEFA Allocate 2,000 Tickets To Chelsea Fans Ahead Of The Super Cup Clash
The UEFA super Cup is usually played between the winner of UEFA champions league and the of Europa league. Chelsea won the Champions League last season and will play Vilerreal the winner of last season’s Europa league.
That means Chelsea will play Vilerreal in the UEFA super Cup on August 11th. Ahead of that clash, Chelsea have continued to intensify preparations. Chelsea last won that trophy in 1999 when they defeated Spanish giant Real Madrid.
Ahead Of The UEFA super Cup, UEFA have announced that only 13,000 fans will be allowed into the stadium for the match between Chelsea and Voilerreal on August 11th. Chelsea will get 2,000 tickets out oof the 13,000 available tickets. Chelsea’s opponent will get the same number of tickets as Chelsea got. UEFA is doing that just to help reduce the spread of covid-19. Since the outbreak of the deadly virus, there have restrictions put in place which have affected sporting events all over the world.
The super cup will be played at the Belfast stadium.
