UEFA reacts after England star netted a debut goal for Chelsea FC in their 3-0 victory
The European football governing body UEFA has showered praise on Chelsea football club of England star Trevoh Chalobah, after he netted a classic goal for the club on his English Premier League debut.
The England star has been superb for the Blues since returning from a season long loan at FC Lorient, and he has played all his team’s matches this season.
Coach Thomas Tuchel gave the youngster his European competition debut few days ago, and he was able to impress, as he guided them to a deserved victory over Villarreal FC in the UEFA Super Cup.
Chalobah’s excellent performance made him to be given his English Premier League debut against Crystal Palace FC on Saturday, and he was able to shine again as he netted a fine goal in their 3-0 victory.
Goals from Marcus Alonso, Christian Pulisic and Trevoh Chalobah were enough to give the Blues a deserved victory in their first English Premier League game of the season.
Reacting to Trevoh Chalobah’s goal, UEFA posted on their verified Twitter handle on Monday that;
“European debut = first trophy 🏆, Premier League debut = first Chelsea goal ⚽️, Trevoh Chalobah 👏.”
Trevoh Chalobah will now be looking forward to building on his excellent performance for the Blues when they play Arsenal FC this weekend.
