Why Manchester United Could Sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
The way things are looking for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, it may seem like Manchester United will let him go sooner than expected.
There are so many reasons why Manchester United board could sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before the season starts.
Here are the reasons why:
1. His poor tactics as a coach.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to show his poor tactics even in recent times, especially during the preseason tour.
Recently, he lost a game against Queens Park Rangers, a team that even his third eleven ought to beat them easily.
However, he deployed a good formation, which he tested some young players in the team but still couldn’t deliver good results today.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could have won his first trophy for Manchester United some months back but he failed to do so. What he should have done in that game against Villarreal, he didn’t do it and now he repeats same mistakes in the preseason.
2. His inability to manage big players.
With the likes of Paul Pogba constantly refusing to extend his contract even with an in increased pay, it shows how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can’t manage big players in his team.
We’ve seen that in games where Bruno Fernandes became frustrated during matches and even Edinson Cavani, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer didn’t manage those players well and didn’t call them to order.
It clearly shows that he wouldn’t do well this coming season and Manchester United could line-up coaches that would replace him before the season starts.
3. His inability to manage situations.
When games gets tight and there is no hope for a good result, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can’t manage the situation appropriately but instead sits and watches the game till the end like nothing ever happened.
What Manchester United needs as a coach is a leader that can stand up and fight for the team and do proper amends.
4. The treatment of Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard.
Assuming these players are given more room to play in the team, they would perform better and would help the team win trophies.
But the way Ole Gunnar Solskjaer manages them, it clearly shows that these players wouldn’t want to perform well even when given the chance.
We’ve seen that with Jesse Lingard while at West Ham United last season where he kept on firing goals and giving assists.
These footballers are more matured and could drive games into a different level when are taken more importantly.
These are the many reasons why Manchester United could eventually sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before the season starts.
