Chelsea have the opportunity to make it six points in the UCL group H when they take on Malmo in tonight’s match. With several top players out of the previous starting lineup that defeated Brentford, Thomas Tuchel could make multiple changes by starting them in the match against Malmo.

Thomas Tuchel seems to have learned some lessons After Chelsea lost to Manchester City and Juventus, as he rested key players and played other bench players in subsequent games. Tuchel in his recent selections has dropped the likes of Jorginho, Kai Harvertz, and Mount for Chelsea games while allowing the likes of Loftus-Cheek, Chalobah, and Melang Sar to demonstrate their potentials.

In the last match against Brentford, Thiago Silva, Jorginho, James, Mount, and Havertz didn’t start for Chelsea, and the manager could bring in these six players into his starting lineup against Malmo.

Thiago Silva is expected to make the three center back alongside Christensen and Azpilicueta after missing the Brentford match for international duty with Brazil.

Chelsea only have a few number injury players in the squad. Antonio Rudiger and Christian Pulisic have been ruled out of the match against Malmo through injuries.

Thomas Tuchel may have nothing to worry about the Antonio Rudiger injury as there are competent replacements for the German. Sarr and Chalobah have proved to the boss what they are capable of doing.

Chelsea have a Premier League match against Norwich City at the weekend and that encounter does not warrant resting key players against Malmo. Norwich City who are yet to record a victory in the Premier League this season may not be able to do that against Chelsea this weekend.

Chelsea’s lost to Juventus in last UCL match have made it very important for the Blues to win. Getting the desired points from earlier games is paramount and Chelsea will be looking to make it 6 points by using the strongest lineup to beat Malmo

The above predicted lineup shows four changes to the Chelsea lineup that beat Brentford on Saturday.
